San Marcos Restaurants and Bars
San Marcos, California has always had a wide selection of restaurants even before the rapid expansion of the city. Most of these restaurants are located in Old California Restaurant Row, a collection of about twenty restaurants around the 1000 block of San Marcos Blvd (See Map Below). However, not all San Marcos Restaurants & Bars are located in this area so be sure to navigate all the different restaurants and bars by using the menu on the left.
Nightlife in San Marcos was almost non-existant until recent years due to the large influx of young people. This change in demographics is primarily due to the expansion of California State University, San Marcos, and has made several bars open up to cater to the younger generation. In addition, several restaurants now have bars and danceclubs inside that are open much later.
